WOOD COUNTY, TEXAS AMATEUR RADIO CLUB
The K5TXQ group now uses the W5KNO repeater at Purley for our weekly on-air nets and also general use. The freqs are: 444.9500 +5 MHz 151.4 / 151.4. This repeater is located in Franklin County between Winnsboro and Mt. Vernon in the Purley community. The antenna is at about 900 feet and has a great footprint and coverage. Come join us on Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm for our weekly net!
Also, come see us in Quitman for our monthly meeting! We usually meet on the 3rd Saturday at 9am at the Quitman Nutrition Center by the baseball fields and the city pool. Sometimes, breakfast is cooked and served prior to the meeting. Check-in on the repeater if you need directions.
